    1. Overview

    HillyPix is an online cultural cinema platform created to showcase, celebrate, and preserve films, series, and music from Northeast India (“Hillywood”). By accessing or using the HillyPix website, mobile applications, or any related services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy.

    If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

    2. Account & Access

    To access certain features of HillyPix, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

    You must have:

    • Internet access
    • A compatible device
    • A valid payment method to purchase content

    HillyPix accounts are intended for individual use only.

    3. Nature of the Platform (Important)

    HillyPix is not a traditional subscription-based OTT platform.

    Instead:

    • Users pay only for what they choose to watch
    • Content is accessed via individual movie purchases, special premieres, or curated bundles
    • Purchased content may be available in your personal library based on the viewing terms provided at checkout

    4. Content Ownership & License

    All content available on HillyPix — including films, series, music videos, visuals, logos, and written material — is owned by or licensed to HillyPix and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

    When you purchase or access content on HillyPix, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the content for personal, non-commercial use only.

    You may not:

    • Copy, record, distribute, resell, or publicly screen content
    • Circumvent or tamper with digital rights management (DRM)
    • Use content for commercial purposes without written permission

    5. Profiles & Device Usage

    • One primary profile is permitted per account
    • Content access may be restricted to one screen at a time
    • Device and account verification may be used to prevent misuse or sharing

    HillyPix reserves the right to limit or suspend access if abnormal usage patterns are detected.

    6. Age Restrictions

    HillyPix is intended for users 13 years and above. Users under 18 must use the platform under parental or guardian supervisio

    7. Payments, Purchases & Viewing Rules

    7.1 Purchases

    HillyPix offers:

    • Individual movie tickets
    • Special premiere screenings
    • Bundled or curated collections

    All prices are clearly displayed before purchase.

    7.2 Viewing Window

    Unless stated otherwise:

    • Purchased content must be started within the allotted access period
    • Once playback begins, a time-limited viewing window may apply (e.g., 48 hours)

    Specific rules will be shown clearly at the time of purchase.

    8. Refunds & Cancellations

    All purchases on HillyPix are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

    Refunds will not be issued for:

    • Change of mind
    • Partial viewing
    • Missed viewing windows
    • Device or connectivity issues on the user’s end

    If a technical issue prevents access to purchased content, users may contact support for assistance.

    9. Promotions & Special Events

    HillyPix may offer:

    • Limited-time premieres
    • Festival screenings
    • Discounted bundles
    • Special cultural events (e.g., Hillywood Fiesta)

    Each promotion may have its own terms, which will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

    10. Prohibited Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
    • Share or resell access
    • Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the platform
    • Upload malicious software or misuse platform features

    Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.

    11. Trademarks

    “HillyPix,” “HillyWood,” the HillyPix logo, and all related branding are trademarks of HillyPix and may not be used without permission.

    12. Unsolicited Submissions

    HillyPix does not accept unsolicited scripts, film ideas, or creative materials unless explicitly requested through official channels. Any such submissions sent without request will not be acknowledged.

    13. Changes to These Terms

    HillyPix may update these Terms from time to time to reflect platform changes or legal requirements. Updated terms will be posted on the website, and material changes will be communicated where necessary.

    Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
